　　英国男星丹·史蒂文斯（Dan Stevens）将在新片《发明圣诞节的人》（The Man Who Invented Christmas）中饰演英国大作家查尔斯·狄更斯（Charles Dickens）。
　　该片根据Les Standiford同名图书改编，编剧是电视剧《丛林中的莫扎特》（Mozart in the Jungle）的苏珊·科因（Susan Coyne）。
　　《发明圣诞节的人》以狄更斯1843年创作小说《圣诞颂歌》（A Christmas Carol）的六周经历为主要内容，克里斯托弗·普拉默（Christopher Plummer）将饰演小说男主角“Scrooge”的原型，而乔纳森·普莱斯（Jonathan Pryce）将饰演狄更斯的父亲。

讲述了都市与小镇，“土味”和“潮流”等多种相去甚远的不同元素碰撞下，一群有着音乐这一共同爱好的年轻人因为意外阴差阳错走在一起，如何完成自我融合以及共同“逆天改命”的音乐励志喜剧故事。

　　Johnathan is a nine-year-old boy who loves sea monsters, and his 300 lb. pet pig, named Wee Wee. Unlike most kids, Johnathan has nystagmus, which makes his eyes "flutter." He also suffers from severe narrow angle glaucoma; an acute condition that if untreated can lead to permanent blindness. JoLynn cares for Johnathan alone while her singer/songwriter husband David travels in search of his big break. To treat Johnathan, she grows hydroponic marijuana to relieve the painful intraocular pressure Glaucoma causes. She cooks the marijuana into brownies and feeds them to him in secret. David"s parents, Mark and Linda, live nearby and provide for JoLynn and Johnathan as best they can on a fixed income. Linda is highly critical of JoLynn"s ability to raise Johnathan. During her son"s absence, Johnathan has become more undisciplined than Linda would like. While Mark tries to keep the peace, he is torn between his wife and their daughter-in-law, who he loves deeply.

　　警界搭档“神枪手”岑健昌（张学友 饰）与“咖喱鸡”江理基（董玮 饰）二人个性颇为轻佻，加之办案手法大胆，时常令上司“枪王”林浩英（林正英 饰）烦恼。岑健昌的广州表哥家常（张坚庭 饰）与表妹家希（李丽珍 饰）来港，暂住岑家中。家常多年来管教家希甚为严格，令好好的一个青春少女举止怪异，甚至有自毁倾向，岑与江遂设计帮家希找回本性。另一方面，黑道人物刘天豪杀死大哥夺位，此案交由林浩英负责，警界双雄随即出动，却意外发现大陆表哥家常的线民身份对查案颇有帮助，家常更借协助查案的机会与KTV老板娘南希产生了一段恋情……刘天豪枪法了得不断犯案，岑、江二人在不懈的追查中终于迎来了与刘天豪的决战……

　　In Naples, a voice from the skies announces one morning that the final judgment will be at 6 p.m. on that day. What follows is a series of vignettes depicting various people's reactions (or lack there of) to the announcement.

　　阿莱克斯（艾伦·卡瓦特 Allen Covert 饰）本来有一份体面而又稳定的工作，还有幸福快乐的人生，但一场突如其来的变故将这一切都粉碎殆尽。如今，年近35岁的阿莱克斯在一家游戏公司从事电视游戏测试员的工作，和他一同工作的，都是小年轻，阿莱克斯必须铆足了劲，才不至于被这些年轻人抛在后面。好在阿莱克斯是一个机灵的男人，他总是有办法让自己成为公司里的焦点。
　　哪知道阿莱克斯的室友因为沉迷于去夜总会风流，欠下了巨额债务，连两人的房租都赔了进去，就这样，一夜之间，阿莱克斯成为了流落街头无家可归的流浪汉。好在很快，阿莱克斯就给自己找到了新的住所，然而让他没有想到的是，他的新同居人，竟然是一位名叫格雷斯（雪莉·琼斯 Shirley Jones 饰）的八十岁老太太。

　　伍十成（潘长江饰）因无意冒犯了皇上而被贬到清河县任职，而清河县一年换了三个县令，臭名在外，皇上特准他可以三年不纳税，并将会武功的麻翠姑（恬妞饰）钦赐给他做夫人，由此上演了一段啼笑皆非的故事。

　　泰勒和女友莉莎预谋抢劫富爸爸的6.8万美金，计划没人受伤，然后偷偷溜走。但是事情开始失控，随着事态发展，一个女人更狠过另一个女人，而泰勒也违背不杀人的初衷。一场鲜血的盛宴即将开始……

　　How easy is it for desperate youngsters to become dangerous gangsters in a decaying society washed all over by the blood of war? Fairly easy indeed. Rane shows incidents, probably somewhat facts, that took place in Serbia of the war era. Things similar to what you see on this film could happen virtually everywhere, but this film gives a very Yugoslavian feeling to everything. Yugo style mafia, Yugo style murder, and all that. Revolting politicians and their greed are to blame, not only the desperate young men who lose their reasoning while trying to be someone. The film and the casting is overall successful, and it's so very Serbian. I recommend it to anyone who.. well anyone who likes a good film. But don't expect anything American style on this one, as I say it's Yugo to the bone.

The director has fallen in love and isn't quite sure how to handle it, and the young doctor is pursuing a beautiful model who apparently doesn't reciprocate his affections.
