导演：马克马巴夫（伊朗）
　　电影的神奇在于能够重建时间，尤如生命可以重来。
　　伊朗导演马克马巴夫年轻时是个激进分子，曾因袭击并刺伤一个警察而被捕入狱，出狱之后，终放弃了政治理想，而把电影当成了信仰，就在他拍《电影万岁》的时候，竟然发现当年他袭击的警察也在一群试镜者当中。后来，他就以他们二人的故事拍了这部《无知时刻》。
　　导演试图重建当年自己制造的袭击事件，并且邀请了另一位当事人--那位警察一起来完成这次重建：找来二位小演员，分别扮演年轻时的马克马巴夫和警察，马克马巴夫和警察分别去跟自己的扮演者讲述当年自己的行为始末，然后拍摄行刺过程。当然导演也就不只是马克马巴夫，还有那个警察。事实上，他也的确一直在重建过程中表达他的愿望和理想，开始是教他的扮演者给过来问他时间的女孩送盆花，后来又教他朝她开枪，而这二样，都是他当年没有做的。
　　还有一位人物，是马克马巴夫的表妹，马克马巴夫当年行刺的时候，以她去问那位警察时间做掩护，而警察却始终不知道这情况，把当年那个总是来问他几点的女孩当作心上人念念不忘，直到拍摄时他看到一个小女孩演员和马克马巴夫的扮演者一同走向自己的扮演者的时候才恍然大悟。
　　他感到被欺骗和伤害之后，自行篡改了历史：他告诉自己的扮演者，不论是谁靠近和他说话，你就向她开枪，包括那位女孩。他也企图在对过去的重建中表达他受伤害的愤怒，如果生命可以重来！
　　在重建的企图下，导演的却是一出巧妙的虚构，而正是这一虚构，把过去的故事转换成了现在时态，也使得导演对于过去的反思显得更有诚意。
　　纪录片样的拍摄手法，质朴而坦诚。电影开始的时候，马克马巴夫在试镜找二个17岁的演员扮演他自己和那位警察，扮演他的那位说他的理想是拯救人类；而警察的扮演者却一副老实巴交的样子，警察十分不满，拒绝出演，说导演如果改变主意就到哪里哪里去找他，愤然而去，摄影师问导演要不要把他追回来，而导演说，这个角色对他很重要，他会回来的。演员如同在生活般演戏，导演也如同生活般在拍电影：看，这是我的生活，也就是我的电影。
　　当警察在教他的扮演者应该怎么送上盆花的时候，马克马巴夫表妹的扮演者刚好路过，问他几点。跃然而出电影穿越时间的神奇，仿佛浑然天成的回文诗。
　　二位导演的企图最后都被几个小演员给颠覆了：激进分子递上的是大饼，警察掏出的是盆花，代替了匕首和手枪。

　　自殺不成的老婦人，屢次從頂樓一躍而下卻無法如願以償，只好再次跛腳步上公寓頂樓。每經過一層樓，便經過一段光怪陸離。七層樓，七種人生樣貌，詭異至極、毫無邏輯，以黑色幽默之姿一窺當代生活，笑看人性的虛偽及庸俗，笑到最後卻忍不住心底發毛。
　　匈牙利導演喬治帕爾菲二○○二年初試啼聲，便以處女作《田園風光》一炮而紅。其後的《百年癲狂》更顯瘋狂不羈，在坎城引發熱議。擅於揉合奇想與創意，以魔幻寫實著稱的喬治帕爾菲，新作《公寓瘋光》影像同樣奇幻詭譎，戲劇調度與剪輯美學更貼近夢境囈語。從喜劇、科幻到神話，從歡笑、驚悚到恐懼，在風格迥異的七部短片裡，導演也展現其對不同類型的遊刃有餘。

　　本片将视角对准20世纪初，以当时欧洲社会的变化为背景。一对孪生姐妹出世后就分道扬镳，后来一个成了勾引富有男人的名媛，另一个则是身绑炸药从事恐怖活动的无政府主义者。两人不知情上了同一趟东方快车，并且跟同一个男人发生关系。当她俩终于面对面时，她们均摆脱了先前的习性，成了真正的独立女性。

　　90年代的哥伦比亚电影作为拉美电影的重要一员而受到了国际上更多的瞩目，同时也产生出一批优秀的电影人和作品，塞尔吉奥.卡比雷拉就是其中最突出的一 位，他是90年代哥伦比亚最知名的电影导演。这部《蜗牛的策略》就是他第一部获得广泛赞誉的影片，他自己拍摄此片的时候也没有想到它会引起巨大的成功，影 片不仅成为迄今为止哥伦比亚国内最流行的电影，而且为他获得了94年柏林电影节新电影论坛特别荣誉奖，以及比利亚雷斯拉美电影节当年最佳拉丁美洲电影等众 多国际大奖。

　　一直作為米路斯．科曼劇本鐵三角（另一位是帕培錫，也是本片編劇之一）成員的艾雲．巴薩，當然也走低度戲劇路線。同是音樂家的彼德與卡洛老友重逢，生活狀況大不同，你有伴侶我有家庭，然而都有說不出的不明朗，唯有以酒與音樂代替口水。全片推展不問目的，只在剎那間的意圖，行行企企比起科曼更義無反顧，卻有生活淡如流水的詩意和繆思，叫觀眾聯想到二十年後的伊力．盧馬。巴薩鍾愛音樂的程度不下於文字和電影，古典音樂與民間音樂於全片迴轉迴盪，難怪成了奇斯洛夫斯基十大心愛電影之一。

　　Ivan Passer's (Cutter's Way and Creator) last film to be made in his native Czechoslovakia is about friends – musician Petr and music teacher Karel – reunited when Petr returns to town for a performance. Passer frequently collaborated with Milos Forman and the episodic, low-action aesthetic that was evident in Forman's early work can be seen here. Years of separation have bred apprehension between the two men, and Karel's simmering jealousy makes their meeting all the more awkward. Eventually, the barriers crumble enough for the pair to freely discuss their lives. The film's simple beauty is in the details of the men's reacquainting themselves with each other, discovering each other's regrets and unfulfilled desires. Alive with pathos, humour and insight.

　　本片讲述伊朗三个不同年龄段女性的故事：1）小女孩哈娃（Fatemeh Cherag Akhar 饰）即将迎来9岁的生日，过了生日后，她就必须遮上面纱，不能和男孩们接触了。离生日还有一个小时，她决定和自己的好朋友共度这最后的时光；2）阿和（Shabnam Toloui 饰）逃离施暴的丈夫，和一群女伴参加长途自行车比赛。一路上，她的亲人、朋友接连赶来，试图阻止她叛逆的举动；3）老婆婆霍拉（Azizeh Sedighi 饰）来到一座城市内疯狂购物，并雇佣一群小孩搬运，但她似乎忘记了什么东西……
　　本片荣获2000年芝加哥国际电影节最佳处女作奖、2000年釜山国际电影节新浪潮奖、2000年多伦多国际电影节发现奖第二名、2000年威尼斯电影节最佳处女作奖。

　　故事发生在捷克，诺娜（迪娜·霍瓦索瓦 Deana Horváthová 饰）是一个平凡的女人，一次偶然中，诺娜解释了名为艾斯特（达格玛·维斯科莫娃 Dagmar Veskrnová 饰）的护士，艾斯特告诉诺娜，她曾经的恋人是一名党员，在革命失败之后，心灰意冷的他选择了自杀。
　　诺娜怀孕了，可是，当她把这一喜讯告诉男友时，男友却选择了逃避和退缩，此时是艾斯特向诺娜伸出了援手，收留了无处可去的她。两个女人想要生存下去第一件事情就是要想方设法的赚钱，她们想了很多损招，最后还是靠卖掉了艾斯特已故的恋人的画作而赚了一大笔钱。就这样，两朵末路狂花走上了不归路。

　　This film took the top honor at the 1969 Berlin Film Festival. After a series of documentaries, this marks the directorial debut for Zelimir Zilnik. It takes a decidedly anti-Stalinist view in the wake of the 1968 Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia and raises important political questions. He states that although the world has experienced untold wars, there have only been a handful of revolutions with any lasting significance that lead to political change.

　　How easy is it for desperate youngsters to become dangerous gangsters in a decaying society washed all over by the blood of war? Fairly easy indeed. Rane shows incidents, probably somewhat facts, that took place in Serbia of the war era. Things similar to what you see on this film could happen virtually everywhere, but this film gives a very Yugoslavian feeling to everything. Yugo style mafia, Yugo style murder, and all that. Revolting politicians and their greed are to blame, not only the desperate young men who lose their reasoning while trying to be someone. The film and the casting is overall successful, and it's so very Serbian. I recommend it to anyone who.. well anyone who likes a good film. But don't expect anything American style on this one, as I say it's Yugo to the bone.

　　"Flesh of your flesh" is a political allegory trhough a love story, framed into the magical colombian universe. In 1955, in the middle of a military dictatorship, a teenage girl seduces her brother and due to their incestous relationship the lovers are possessed by the ghosts of their ancestors. The two youngsters become vampirical and criminal creatures like those created by the colombian "violencia", mingling with the mythological beings of the countryside like "drafts" and other ghost sowing fear into the heart of men.
　　Directed by Carlos Mayolo. Centers on a wealthy family fighting over the last testament of a just-deceased matriarch. From there, the family members are shown to have an incestuous relationship, and eventually vampires come into the picture, as well as unbridled slaughter.
　　Tropical Gothic Baroque. An extremely interesting film about La Violencia in Colombia which captures the strange social and political heterogeneity of this dark set of events. Mayolo developed his own aesthetic - partly in collaboration with filmmaker Luis Ospina and the late Andrés Caicedo - 'el gótico tropical' in order to convey this strangeness. The film combines local Colombian myths - caspi, la madremonte, el hojarasquin del monte - with themes of vampirism and incest to convey the place of La Violencia within a repetitive and cyclical history characterised by interpartisan conflicts that benefit the empowerment of the Colombian aristocracy.

　　A group of Czech artists choose to ignore the realities of Nazi occupation in this brooding experimental war drama. When a pretty female refugee comes to town seeking help, she awakens the sexual desires of all the men, but the only one who helps her is a sympathetic sculptor. When she is allegedly killed, the man sends the artists who refused to aid the woman death masks of the victim. All later conclude that the woman was not mortal.

　　A Man lives in his car. He is 40 years old and although he does not have a lot of free time, when he does, he chooses to spend it with his family. He meets his wife and two children at a specified day and time in car parking lots. His job is to locate and bring the finest honey to a 50-year old man. A New Driver shows up and the Man gets fired. The Man’s life changes and he finds it absurd that no one trusts him anymore.

　　In this film, a couple, after seeing the lovely job a friend of theirs has done in converting an old mill house into a cozy mansion, moves into an old farmhouse after persuading the current owner, an old man, to leave. When they arrive, he appears to be preparing to leave, but it soon becomes evident that the man has no intention of going to live with his children, and intends to stay in the house. At first, they find his presence unbearable, but when he must go to the hospital, they begin to realize that they care for the feisty old gentleman.

　　维嘉（沙鲁克·汗 Shah Rukh Khan 饰）是一位事业有成的青年企业家，一次偶然中，他邂逅了名为西瓦尼（玛杜丽·迪克西特 Madhuri Dixit 饰）美丽空姐，西瓦尼的温柔和善良深深的吸引着维嘉让他坠入了情网，可是，就在维嘉准备去向西瓦尼提亲之时，他发现西瓦尼已经和一个名为阿肖克（迪帕克·提卓瑞 Deepak Tijori 饰）的飞行员携手步入了婚礼的殿堂。

　　1954年指挥大师富特文格勒在萨尔茨堡音乐节上，指挥维也纳爱乐乐团，上演莫扎特的经典歌剧《唐•乔万尼》，这个珍贵的录像堪称富特文格勒留存至今最完美的影像资料，来自当年奥地利导演保罗•齐纳尔的努力，不计工本，用彩色电影胶片拍摄整个歌剧的演出，由著名的意大利男低音西耶皮演唱剧名主角，瑞士女高音德拉.卡萨演唱艾尔薇拉，堪称一时之选。卡司如下：

　　修伯特是個十幾歲的男孩，他的父親因為滯留在西方不肯回國而被視為叛國賊，母親為了他著想，忍痛將他送到華沙跟姑姑同住。在波蘭共黨高壓統治的時代，這個高貴、難解卻又叛逆的姑姑經營了一家馬術俱樂部，她不但不准男孩叫他姑姑，還為他編造了一段符合政治正確的身世，讓他順利插班就讀。過去在母親嚴格要求正直誠實的教養下成長的修伯特，從姑姑身上發現了不一樣的世界。男孩從疑惑到逐步發現姑姑的秘密，而終於瞭解到一些他原本難以想像的事實，也改變了他對真理的認知。
　　《狂奔岁月》（Cwal/ At Full Gallop,1996）是赞努西另一部可圈可点的作品。也许是政治情势的转变，也许是创作者自身年岁的增长所致，这部回顾一九五○年代波兰共党高压统治时代的作品，非但没有想象中的正经八百，反而流露了温馨、童稚的情感，赞努西甚至在电影最后现身说法，除了自承某些情节来自个人亲身经历外，甚至带着演员一块谢幕，幽默得紧。
